We can never get enough of peeking inside A-listers mansions, whether its Kendrick Lamar’s Brentwood mansion or Gwyneth Paltrow’s recently-sold LA estate. But if there’s a power couple out there who certainly has great taste when it comes to real estate, Beyoncé and Jay-Z take the cake. Over the years, they’ve spent hundreds of millions on their dream homes, often working with notable architects to find hidden gems on both the East and West Coasts.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have bought and sold several properties in the last decade or so, including a New Orleans church and a midtown Manhattan penthouse. Malibu, CA
In 2023, Beyoncé and Jay-Z spent a whopping $200 million on a mansion in Malibu, according to TMZ, which went untouched in the recent L.A. fires. The house was designed by renown architect Tadao Ando, whose previous works have been owned by the likes of Kanye West. The 30,000 square-foot compound looks over the Pacific Ocean from the cliffs above, and features Ando’s signature concrete-and-glass construction. Photos of the mansion show a museum-like interior, with floor-to-ceiling windows and several pools.
