Parker Posey is having a moment. Fresh off stealing scenes (and spawning viral memes) as the delightfully loopy Victoria Ratliff in HBO’s latest season of The White Lotus, Posey has once again reminded us why she’s Hollywood’s undisputed indie queen.
Her impeccable comedic timing isn’t her only talent—her real estate game is equally strong. Turns out, she’s got a knack for picking charming homes. From artsy downtown lofts to charming country escapes, each home comes with its own personality, flair, and just the right amount of delightful unpredictability—much like her on-screen characters.
So before you dive into another The White Lotus Reddit thread or attempt your best Posey impression (we’ve all tried), take a peek inside the homes the actress has called her own.
East Village Loft
Posey’s first notable real estate splash was a quintessential East Village co-cop situated atop a historic 1845 brownstone at 119 East 10th Street. This one-bedroom loft-like apartment featured everything you’d expect from an indie icon’s home: soaring wood-beamed ceilings, original wide-plank floors, and exposed brick walls.
But it wasn’t all vintage—Posey updated the pad with modern amenities including a wood-burning fireplace and a renovated kitchen and bath. The apartment occupied the entire top floor of the building, and boasted fellow indie darling Chloë Sevigny as a neighbor.
Posey parted ways with this charming spot in 2008 for $1.3 million, and in 2017, the keys were passed along to none other than actor Alexander Skarsgård for $2.3 million. After some renovations of his own, Skarsgård resold the place in 2022 for approximately $2.5 million.
