We can’t get enough of the epic romance that is Johnny and June. And now, we can live it: The Hendersonville, Tennessee property where the duo spent nearly their entire marriage is up for sale.
Johnny Cash purchased the 4.5-acre property shortly before proposing to June Carter in the late ‘60s, according to a spokesperson for the property. The couple lived there until they died just four months apart in 2003.
The original home burned to the ground in a tragic 2007 fire, but the Cash footprint is still found on the property. June’s wardrobe room, which survived the fire, is now a modern studio apartment. The garage where Johnny kept his cars still stands.
